An Invitation to Southland Schools…..

All schools in Southland are encouraged to come along to these dates!

There are several opportunities for Southland school children to become involved with the PowerNet Tour of Southland. In addition to "Riding with the Stars" on Sunday afternoon (1November), an invitation is extended to all Southland school children and their families, to come to the ILT Velodrome on Sunday evening (1 November) to watch the presentation of the teams competing in this year's event.  This presentation will commence at 7.00 pm and entry is free!

In addition, two stages of this year's Tour will commence from the Velodrome and schools are most welcome to come and watch the riders preparing, interact with the riders and receive autographs.

• Tuesday, 3 November - race starts from the Velodrome at 10.00 am.

• Wednesday, 4 November - race starts from the Velodrome at 9.00 am.

Please note that Spot prizes will be presented by the cyclists to school children present.  Again entry is free.
