Join the fun and festivities on Gala Street Reserve as riders prepare for the Prologue of this year's 60th Anniversary SBS Bank Tour of Southland. Gala activities and entertainment on the Gala Street Reserve - Invercargill, including live music, commences from 1.00pm.
1.30pm - Ride with the Stars
2.00pm - Corporate Road Team Time Trial
3.00pm - Team Introductions - A chance to see the competitors in this year's SBS Bank Tour of Southland up close and personal as the Teams are introduced to the public.
4.30pm - Prologue - Teams Time Trial

Bring your bike and ride Queens Park with cycling’s superstars. Several of the Tour riders will be present plus some of our own cycling Stars ... maybe even an Olympian or two. They will accompany you on the short ride around Queens Park. Participants are asked to provide their own bike and helmet please. Spot prizes will be awarded on the day.
Want to test your skills out and compare yourself to the official tour teams, well heres your chance.

The all-action start to the 2016 SBS Bank Tour of Southland.
Another brilliant day for Riding with the Stars. Big numbers again showed at Queen's Park in Invercargill to accompany the stars of the 2011 Tour.
A huge number of cyclists, young and not so young brought their bikes along for a lap and were "all in" when the prizes were being handed out.
In a new concept the Official Team's Presentation was also held at Queen's Park on Sunday along with the start of the 2011 Tour itself with the Team's Time Trial.
Calder Stewart did the business taking out the first stage but as you can see from the photos to the left, loyalties were divided amongst the crowd.
After the Riding with the Stars each of the 19 PowerNet Tour teams were introduced to the crowd.
31/10/2010 - A huge turn-out of Tour riders and the public (young and old) to rub shoulders with the riders from the 2010 PowerNet Tour at Queens Park today. And what a gorgeous day for a ride in the Park!
